Graphic Designer   Garden Oaks Area (Houston, TX) (Hybrid Optional)

  • Create high-impact designs for print and digital campaigns, including but not limited to retail displays, brochures, email, online ads, promotional materials, social media and website graphics, product packaging, and video
  • Manage the design and execution of responsive email content and interactive applications, such as pop ups and exit grabbers for desktop and mobile utilizing Listrak software
  • Collaborate with Creative Director on product and lifestyle photography, ensure all photographs are color corrected/processed, retouched, cropped, compressed and organized on the server
  • Work with Marketing Team to develop display concepts for print in accordance with domestic and international postal regulations
  • Collaborate with in-house marketing team to develop conceptual designs and creative solutions within budget and timeline constraints
  • Organize and catalogue all artwork files for print and digital projects
  • Complete projects with creativity and attention to detail, including proofreading all projects
  • Communicate effectively and regularly to develop concepts and ascertain needs
  • Demonstrate initiative and innovation appropriate to the assignment and timeframe
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions, offering ideas, feedback and insight
  • Support other marketing activities and promotions as needed or assigned
  • Contribute ideas and research to promote the profitability and growth of the businesses

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in design related field preferred, or equivalent working experience
  • 2+ years of design experience with a design studio ad agency or in-house creative team
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) in PC environment
  • Multimedia experience in video and digital delivery is a plus (AfterEffects, Premier, iBooks Author, Muse/Dreamweaver, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Creative problem solver with effective project management, interpersonal and collaboration skills, experience carrying a project from ideation to production
  • Proficient in preparing and packaging files for print and web
  • Experience in designing responsive email layouts, knowledge of Listrak platform a plus
  • Clear understanding of branding and marketing principles
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple projects with adherence to deadlines and budget
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience in lifestyle and jewelry photography a plus
  • Portfolio of print and digital creatives required
