Mon May 24, 2010: The overall impression I have of the two sport bands that I purchased for my daughtes-I love them. What I am disappointed with about the sport band and my medical brachlet (which is not a sport band) is that I have to order new ones every three years because the printing on the metal alert tags become so light that they are unreadable. I think there should be a way to make the engraving last longer than that. My brachlet is so unreadable that if something was to happen (My daughters and I have a bleeding disorder) that it would be very hard to distinguish it.

But, since my children’s wrists are so small, some velcro to hold the excess end to the back of the wrist strap, would have been a very good idea. Instead, I had to tack it with needle and thread, which will need to be repeated, as they grow.

Mon Mar 22, 2010: It is nice looking but the band and the plastic clasps are not as heavy duty as the old bracelt he had. With the lighter weight band, the rivets seem rougher on the bottom side so we are worried about it scratching his skin. He just started wearing it last week so we have not been able to tell yet how it is going to work. Overall, just does not seem like it will be as durable as the last one he had.

It still had to be adjusted which left a tail that had a tendency to ’hang out. ’ This was an annoyance for him. I ’ve tacked the tail to the band with needle and thread, but he is still trying to adjust to the feel of the sportband. Great looking band, but I would recommend a smaller scale sportband for young children.

Also, when I ordered the sportband, I was under the impression that more of the camoflauge material would be visible. The plaque does take up most of the space. If it weren ’t for those two things, I would give it a 5.

Without the cover there is no medical information nor any indication that it was a medic alert bracelet. In addition, no where on the bracelet is there a telephone number. I assume you took all of my medical information so it would be available, but how would they know where to call. If it were inside on the paper you provided it would have fallen out when the cover came off. I am beggining to think I made a bad choice.

Thu Jun 24, 2010: I like it. It works great for daily use as well as when I am playing Hockey. I don’t have to tape it down anymore when I play. The design is great. It keeps the engraved plate up and has helped prevent scratches.

M.ColeRawson and instead it is in all uppercase letters M.COLERAWSON and is more difficult to distinguish the separation. As you can see from the text that it makes a big difference in reading the name. I sent a specific email with the order and it still came in incorrect

We were so tired of the chains breaking and ID ’s getting scratched - so took a chance on these. Don ’t ever stop making them We rate them a 10 .
